Health and wellbeing over the holiday period

Holiday period health and wellbeing support

Do you need support over the holiday period?

The holiday period can be a busy one with many service providers changing their hours or closing for the break. While we wish everyone a safe, healthy and happy holiday, we understand it can still be a stressful and challenging time for some.

We sat down with our friends from the Queensland Transcultural Mental Health Centre, Queensland Health and World Wellness Group to find out what support services are available for students over the holiday period.

For general information and advice

1800QSTUDY (1800 778 839)

Sometimes you have a question and not even Google knows the answer! Thankfully the Queensland Government's international student hotline - 1800QSTUDY (1800 778 839) is available 24 hours 7 days a week to provide advice and referrals for international students, friends, family or guardian, other relatives, chaperones, etc.

Your institution's support team

Many institutions have their own international student support teams. Make sure you check with your institution to see if there are support services available to you over the holiday period.
